I say go for it.... That is the thing woman can pretty much pull off any look or outfit as long as they are confident... I bet she looked classy wearing it. I say that woman need to stop juding other woman, we have enough people against us in this world. I really like when woman go out of the box with their accessories, shoes, handbads, clothes, hair anything to stick out is great, its boring being like everyone else.

My initial reaction would be to first think "she looks like my great aunt", then stop myself. Then I'd reconsider my previous notions about them. The only people I've ever seen wear them are elderly women.
But if you were on your way to an event for which you'd spent extra time (or money!) on your hair, and it looked like it might rain it might be a good idea! Less awkward than an umbrella.
In general though, I usually tend to try to be more low maintenance. So if it's raining out I wear my hair in a way that it doesn't matter to me if it gets wet!

Good on her! I think the "classic look" of women in knee length dresses or skirts, wearing hats {bonnets, scarves etc..} nice and classy looking. Only some women can pull it off and look really nice...my reaction would probably resemble a guy's:I'd turn my head to look at her longer{ I wouldn't whistle or anything =]}

It's raining............she has on a RAINbonnet. All right, what is the problem? Do you realize how much time she probably put into her hair and makeup? Maybe she was on her way to work or a meeting or her guy and just wants to look good and really could care less what anyone else thinks.

I say that it doesn't matter what I would think. If she looked nice in one, then I bet you would too. I haven't seen those since I was a kid and only the older women use to wear them. But, yeah, I would wear one myself if I had one. :)

I dont look down on anyone to each their own and as long as they are comfortable and happy with what they are wearing thats all that matters, its none of my concern.

Fashion-wise, I'm one step above "Ugly Betty" ... so ... no, I wouldn't look down on anyone for anything they wear ... so long as it is clean. If it makes you happy ... wear it!
