I don't mean to offend anyone but I am so sick of all the teenage girls asking questions like, "If I did it a week ago..." it's absolutely ridiculous! For one thing, don't have unprotected sex and it won't be a problem, and second, just take a freakin pregnancy test! It really isn't that complicated. Anyone else feel this way, or am I just a grouch?

And to answer that one: I don't think I have "forgotten" what it's like to be a teenager. I clearly remember that I didn't have unprotected sex and I didn't need to ask anyone if I was pregnant.

THANK YOU!!

Besides, how the hell can we tell if someone is pregnant!!??

Oh, and the lack of use of birth/disease control is alarming. I can't believe that people have so little sense.

i think of they do! I relatively have observed this too; the undesirable grammar and the questions. It sounds like they choose college greater suitable than intercourse/toddler. If it retains going the cost it relatively is going, there is going to be two times as many teenager pregnancies in a pair of years. I swear, in the event that they don't have a condom or delivery administration, don't have intercourse! it relatively is that straightforward. Or greater suitable yet, wait until eventually when you're out of faculty, have a job, and could relatively help somewhat one in case you grow to be pregnant.

I'm a teen and pregnant but I, too, am sick of them asking. I just went to a doctor like all the others should do.... It's called PLANNED PARENTHOOD or The Crisis Pregnancy Center. Teen ALWAYS have someone to talk to. Even if it's not their parents. They need to stop being stupid and just live with life as it comes at them. I DID!

You may be acting a bit like a grouch...being that this is yahoo answers....but it can get kind of old. Maybe they don't have anyone to talk to...and they don't have a way to go buy a pregnancy test without their parents finding out. You are right they should have protected sex....but sometimes condoms fail. For those of you that are thinking about having sex....WEAR A CONDOM...AND DO NOT HAVE SEX UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES.

I don't think you're a grouch, but I think you have forgotten what it was like to be a teen (possibly having to get money and a ride to get a pregnancy test) and being in love with raging hormones & being paranoid. Most teens have better access to the internet than a test and want to connect with people to allay their worries.

Like you, I have had years of experience since then to think the way you do, but they haven't yet. They need time!

I think alot of teens don't have any other source of information, they can't ask their parents. Since this is yahoo answers that is why they come here to get answers..... BUT that does get on your nerves knowing all these teens don't know answers to these questions! Don't they teach you this in school, and if you don't know that you can get pregnant after having UNPROTECTED SEX.... then dont have sex at all!

You may be feeling a little grouchy today. Most teens probably don't know about early pregnancy tests (or when to use regular pregnancy tests) and some of them want to be pregnant. I believe that they should search through the previously asked questions, they will find all the answers they need, but they are just trying to learn about thier bodies. Not all teens can talk to thier mothers about sex.

If you find that the questions are annoying you, just switch to another topic. Keep in mind though, that the majority of Yahoo users are teens. (and people who act like teens)

No, I agree with you. I'm also tired of-

- Does he / she like me?
- How can I get him / her back?
- How can I get him / her to like / love me?

Some of the questions are genuine, I'm sure. I try my best to answer them in a straigh forward way. I am alarmed by a lot of the questions, especially when they're discussing sex. It seems that many are indifferent to having safe sex, indiscriminate in their choice of partners and aren't beyond using an innocent bystander to make a point or get back at someone.

You're not a grouch, but I know these questions make me grouchy.

it's the parent's fault. They need to not only discuss the birds and the bees but the babies too. Like, if you do get pregnant/have a kid, this is what you do...
But, we do also have grown women asking the same questions.
I mostly dislike little kids, anyone under the age of 16 asking that question. Once again..WHERE ARE THE FREAKIN' PARENTS!?!?!?!?!

maybe a little grouchy. Most teens get scared and they know to take a test but they come on here to get help or advice. I mean this is yahoo answers for a reason. Its funny that you say teens keep asking about if they are pregnant, but people keep posting about how tired they are of teens asking...lol. Its an endless cycle. If you dont approve of the question then just ignore it and dont answer it..no big deal. Like I said most teens just need some help or reassurance.

I fully agree with you. There are people with real questions and I too am sick of seeing "could I be preg" If you had unprotected sex then yes you could. It really surprises me that there are so many out there that don't seem to have a clue about basic biology.
