It goes away? LOL
Mine took about 4-6 months to go away after all my babies.

I've had my baby for 3 wks now and mine is (very unfortunately) still here. I was only 88 pounds when I got pregnant, back down to 90 or 91 and had a wonderful and perfectly healthy 6 pound 12 ounce baby girl (now 8 pounds!). No rips or tears while having her. And very few stretch marks! I am so lucky. The only problem was a popped out belly button ( which is slowly receding now) and those stupid linea nigra lines! I have it both below AND above my belly button. It is dark and ugly and I am starting to doubt its desire to ever disappear. I suppose it depends on the person but as to when it will go away but mine hasn't even lightened the slightest bit. Good luck to you. I just keep thinking things could have been worse and I got something way more important out of it than the dark lines. Its all worth it. LOL ;)

Mine never got very dark during my pregnancies but I had a friend who is of Greek/ Italian decent and hers has never really gone away completely. So I guess it depends on how dark your skin is and or other factors.

My son's 9 weeks old and mine is still as visible/deep as when I first had him.
I think I'm gonna be waiting a while for it to go... sigh :(

I never got one with my first child but this time I still have it, it's pretty light, but it's been almost 12 weeks.
