I am no fan of Bush, but the whole issue of war crimes is nonsense. This is not Nuremburg. Bush has made a ton of mistakes and his party paid for it today. But he is no criminal. Criminals are much smarter than that.

Torture is against the Geneva Convention. Invading a country for reasons proved to be false is a good start. Imprisoning people without a trial for an indefinent period of time. I guess proffiting off of war is treason according to Former president Truman. Cheney was the C.E.O. of Haliburton and still receives a check. This company was given all of the rebuilding contracts in Iraq with no bid contracts. In case you dont understand what a "no bid contract" is, no one else had a chance to get a rebuilding contract. It was given to Haliburton By this administration. Alot work huh? I bet thats a big payoff. Also outing a C.I.A. agent because of their husband reporting that Bush's claims that Iraq was obtaining nuclear weaponry wasn't correct (which turned out to be false) is treason. These are just a few things off the top of my head. I'm sure I could think off something else but its early (haven't got my coffee yet). Oh, hows the election going? I just woke up.

You aren't looking in the right places. Here's a partial list, just off the top of my head (I'm not an expert in International Law):

Invading a country that had not attacked us was a war crime.

Targeting civilians by using cluster bombs on residential areas was a war crime.

Rounding up innocent Iraqi citizens was a war crime.

Torture is a war crime.

Rape is a war crime.

Exactly. For all those who want to prosecute Bush and Blair for 'war-crimes', why don't you give us a complete legal list of what they are supposed to have done? And a vague "violating the Geneva convention" doesn't suffice. Come on people, if you want us to take you seriously then give us the exact charges.

right now his war crimes are peoples opinions because there are no interest groups to look further into his actions so there is no evidence to PROVE or DISPROVE he has committed any crime... i can't say that the Democrats will look into it either (assuming they win) because they might be too busy trying to fix the mess Bush has put us in.. plus Bush is better than Cheney.

Well, violating the Geneva Conventions (who Bush admin types defined as "quaint") is a war crime in every sense of the word.

I hate Bush but to be honest. HE DOESNT HAVE ANY WAR CRIMES. Unless he staged 9/11 so that he could have an excuse to bomb the MIDDLE EAST.
