I'm assuming you mean NEGATIVE effects?

Positive effects are:
- less fat built up in the liver
- better cholesterol metabolism
- good gallbladder function
- improved brain function & memory
- good hormone production
- normal nerve function

I know of no documented ill effects from choline supplementation. It is water-soluble so is not stored in the body. The B vitamins should always be taken together, but up to 2 to 3 times more of one can be taken for a particular disorder, such as Parkinson's.
