90% of the time, yes. But there are some people that rub me the wrong way immediately, and I won't bother to learn anything more about them. First impressions are hard to overcome, and I don't think that I've ever become friends with anyone who I took an instant dislike to.

I don't find it necessary to have something in common with everyone I meet. I find it easy to talk to most anyone.

absolutely...we are all human and our feelings generally genuine whether they are the same or not is mute, just that they be genuine. Thats our common ground. I enjoy meeting people who enjoy meeting other people.
