I voted a split ticket - Democrat for House of Representatives, Republican for Senate. I vote for the person, not the party, and my candidates are the best for their respective positions.

Green Party for Governor, Democrat for everything else
(Our Governor is a Republican and she is going to win easily so there was no point in voting Democrat for Governor so I voted the party I would really like to win)

I don't vote for parties, I vote for individuals or issues. I read them thoroughly, listen to the debates, and inform myself. Then I go and cast my secret ballot.

Just because in nearly every instance the Republican candidate reflected a better perspective may or not be indicative of how I voted, you are left to draw your own conclusions.

You can see why our country is so divided when one votes for the "party" and not the person. How can anyone believe that one party has all the right people with the right answers, and the other party has no one worth being elected to office. Personally, I think that is rather sad.

I voted Republican, Reform, and Libertarian. I do not simply vote along party lines. In fact, I couldn't stomach the thought of voting for Charlie Crist (FL gubernatorial candidate -- republican) so I went for Max Linn, the Reform candidate. (The dem candidate made me almost as sick as Charlie).
