I prefer in English. It's hard to read the subtitles and watch what's going on at the same time.

Japanese with English subbs whenever possible. I only watch the English dubbs when its on Anime on Demand or on Cable. Like what the above posters said, most of the time the english voice-overs are horrible.

Japanese with English subtitles - I agree with the person above, sometimes the English voiceovers just sound absurd ... and even when they don't, I just love the sound of the Japanese language even if I don't speak it myself.

I always try to get them in Japanese with English subs for a series of reasons.

1. They DO sound better. More like what the character would sound like
2. English screws up the meanings all the time!
3. They're much more comical. Lol.
4. Its a Japanese cartoon..hello!?
Thats all I can think of, but yeah- points for Jap. w/ Eng. subs.

Most of the ones i've seen have been in english, but i prefer japanese.

i like subs better then dubs for two reasons- the voices are always better in Japanese, though the English voices can get really close(first season of saiyuki), and two-you are more likely to get what you wouldn't in the English version(as in different sayings, meaning and etc.)but i can tolerate English dubs if the voices are good
