when buying from a dealership such as a bass pro shop? If so, how much of a % is normally negotiable

Nope, not in less it's a model year close out or a promotion at a boat show. It's like trying to get a good deal on a Saturn car. They do business the same. That's why they have what is called a National Advertised price. It's cheap enough to begin with so don't worry about it. If you would have mentioned any other I would have answered with yes.

Just put it this way if a dealer is having trouble meeting their operating cost, it's a sure bet you can bargin for extras. And if they are selling product before it come in the door then don't expect much. It doesn't matter if it's a boat or a car the dealer would rather offer you extras than a price drop. It's just cheaper for them and more than likely they have an agreement with the manufacturer to give away certain options for no cost.

It very well could be a buyer's market. You will never know until you try. Bargain for extra equipment, safety items required by the Coast Guard, GPS Units, Fish Finder, Spare Tire on the Trailer, Anchor and Anchor Line. Notify the seller that you are going elsewhere to look for a better deal. Try the next town, or city. Shop,
Shop, Shop. Let them see your money, but don't release it to them without the best possible deal.

It depends on the boat. Some models always sell out every year, so there's no reason for them to drop the price. I've seen Bayliners for for 25% off. There's a much higher profit margin with boats than with cars.

100% is negotiable, there is less demand for bass boats than for cars, so it should be more of a buyers market....remember you can always go up in offer, but its hard to come down, so dont be afraid to low ball him

bass pro mark up is 30%. whether you can "haggle" over it is up to your skill level. buying at a bass pro shop is starting at the best price for that particular unit. lol.
