I have a 96 ford probe with a 93 motor. do I need to change the computer?

I want to know if I have to change the computer for my car in ordr to make it run

The problem is that it doesn't want to turn on. They keep telling me to change the sensor but the 93 motor doesn't bring one the 96 does.

you need to change all electronics,computer harness etc,and the transmission may not be compatible then with the new wireing,emmission rules also require an engine the same year or newer to pass smog checks
