I recently saw a most informative documentary about an ambassador of afghanistan, in it there was a scene where he was visiting america and involved everybody in a song entitled 'Throw the Jew down the well, so my country can be free' Surely in these civilised times there has to be another way??

I agree, there are far too many people around in this day and age with a chip on their shoulder (I mean that literally for you Americans, fattys) who can't behave in a mature manner I would never dream of acting in such a dispicable manner!
