We have a couple of outfits that allow us to fold the sleeves over her hands to keep them warm at night. We also keep the heat at 68 degrees at night since the heat is not zoned and heats the whole house at once and it would be really expensive to keep it higher than that. Should we get a space heater of some sort or is that dangerous in her room which is large and has three windows?

It's very normal for a baby's hands/feet to be cold. As long as her core temperature is warm the baby is fine. You can check her temperature with a thermometer under armpits of course, but the easiest way is to check the nape of her neck, if she feels warm she's fine. If you're worried about her being cold, put an undershirt under her pj at night, if it's not a thick pj. 68 is a good temperature for night sleeping. Don't worry, you're doing great !

Its normal for a baby's extremities to be colder or sometimes even blue! Babies' systems are still developing even after birth. They cannot always regulate temperature and blood flow.

Relax, she is just fine! Give her hand little warm snuggly kisses!

I had the same issue with my son and found that even when he had mittens on he could always manage to pull them off. Maybe you could try wrapping her different in her blanket.
