If you are trying to apply for a teller position, the company wants to know if you have 10-key skills - in other words, how quickly can you enter numbers on the number keypad without looking at them.

In this case, ten-key refers to the adding machine, not calculators. They are not the same thing. On adding machines, to add 2 to 3, you type 2 + 2 +. To subtract 2 from 3 you type 3 + 2 -. Do you have experience with this type of adding machines?

They might also expect you to know how to use the memory and memory recall button.

You should be able to do this without looking at the keyboard at all and do so with just one hand. (of course.... it's a 10 key keyboard)
