not a good idea at all. diet pills contain caffeine, which makes it so you can't absorb vitamins and minerals-which are needed for the new baby.

You know i wouldn't think that it would be a good idea... I just went to the doctor for my checkup( i am 28 wks preg.) and they told me to even stay off of Tylenol. So if I were u and i were trying to get pregnant i would probably STOP taking the Diet pills, b/c u never know there could be something in them that could stop u from getting preg. or if u did get that way and didn't find out for a lil bit then it might harm the baby...

A healthy diet during pregnancy contains a variety of foods that provide the amount of calories and nutrients you need. During pregnancy, your body needs extra calories and nutrients to support your growing baby. Some extra nutrients you need include protein and certain vitamins and minerals.
A healthy diet is crucial to having a healthy pregnancy. Good nutrition is essential to ensuring that a mother's body can give the unborn baby the nourishment she or he requires to develop and grow.
Just eat right and exercise! It could harm the baby

To be honest its probably not a good idea, but both my children were conceived while I was on Duromine (perscrived diet medication). My 2 girls both turned out fine..but once I found out I
was pregnant both times I stopped takeing the medication..
In the end its your choice.

i don't think it is safe to take diet pills while trying to get pregnant. Because first of all you aren' t getting the proper nutrients that your baby is going to need. If you want to take something to lose weight or to stabilize your weight take prenatal vitamins. They help with that and have all the nutrients your baby is going to need.

No this is not a good idea. You should stop taking them and if you go to the doctor you need to mention that you had been taking them.

Why would you want to be dieting while you are wanting to get pregnant?? This question doesn't really make sense to me. Pregnant women need to eat healthily and appropriately so that their developing fetus receives the nutrients it needs to develop normally.

If you have to ask a question like the one you presented my guess is that you are not ready for parenthood.
