I saw spooks for the first time last night. I happen to think it was hillarious!

At one stage, a bloke is shot and dragged onto a kitchen table to be operated on by a gynacologist. Then, after a couple of hours, his missus who is a surgeon decides to help. This fella gets a make-shift blood transfusion from his bodyguard who ever so conveniently has the same blood group. She should do - she's wearing most of his over her very tight t-shirt.

Will watch again 'cos there aren't many good comedies on at the moment.

Depends on the person. Look at the popularity of The West Wing. Political-themed shows will always have a place in American tv - until we become an dictatorship, that is. Wait . . . aren't we headed that way now? Sigh . . .

I saw a couple of episodes of 24. They were good, but all I could think of was that it was Dick Cheney's favorite show and that fiction sometimes creates reality. Scary.

It's just enjoyable rubbish - it's better than celebrities dancing / running about / going on holiday / walking their dog or somebody decorating their house / cleaning their house / selling their house / digging the garden of their house - at least it has a storyline.

24 could've been written just for Bush and his cronies. They do dirt like that all the time.

I think the character of President Charles Logan is extremely similiar to Bush. One might have thought he was based on him.
