Considering the part of the world Jesus came from, He would have been considered a terroist and sent to Gitmo.

Seriously, if Jesus came back tomorrow, the rich, elitist, power hungry, war mongerers would crucify Him all over again! And for all the same reasons.

This is an interesting question. Nobody really knows the answer. He loved everyone, but insisted on justice. He would not have allowed the killing of innocent babies (abortion). He would probably not have been very happy with the Republicans Or Democrats. (though I tend to think he would rather choose Republicans, because they are Pro-Life)

p.s. just my opinion.

Jesus was a champion of the poor, meaning he would most likely swing closer to the democrats' side of things, but there are some issues where he would be more like the republicans.

Neither. Jesus wouldn't vote because he wouldn't believe in politics. He would say, "There is only one leader who governs us and it is He."

And besides, he was too charitible to the poor to be a republican and he wouldn't be a democrat because he didn't like taxes. The closest would be a libertarian.

Jesus would be a Republican, because that was the party who freed the slaves in America. Being Jewish, Jesus knew that slavery was wrong because the Hebrews were once enslaved themselves.

Jesus was a religious leader and his view on government was "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's". More of a monetary policy, really.

He would eschew politics.

hehe...I said eschew.

He'll favor those politicians that will help the poor, the sick, the needy, etc. He believed in giving and love so I think he'll be neither. Because ultimately politicians are looking out for themselves.
