I have a friend who's husband is attractive to other women but he told he that he love her and is in love with her but she feels that he is wrong for being attractive to other women. I dont have that problem with my husband and i didnt know how to respond to her on that.

Do you mean attracted to other people or are other people attracted TO you?

I'm married and if i see a girl i think is pretty i'm free to think that but since i have a code of honor i will not act on it. When you have committed yourself to one person you have promised to not pursue a romantic or sexual involvement with anyone else. If you're not married and you think you will cheat then let the other person know you can't commit and if you they're comfortable with the both of you seeing other people. That's the honorable way.

Now if you're married you made a vow forsaking all others until death and you must abide by that oath. Even God lists adultery as the one justifiable reason for divorce.

Attraction is a human response. It is like how you jump when you get a shock. Of course one can suppress this attraction to some extent. But why? You can enjoy it. If you like just do some harmless flirting. If your morals allow it, you can go on a friendly date. If you want to have a full blown affair (no pun intended) then you have the option to do that, if it is agreeable to all involved. The older I get, the more I see room for various kinds of love in life.

Nothing wrong with being attracted just as long as you don't act on that attraction. Like the old saying goes "you can look but don't touch"

There is a difference between attraction and action. Anyone who says they find only their mate attractive is lying. But at the same time that doesn't mean you don't want to be with that person.

We are attracted to many but in our society - if married - committed to one. Looking isn't wrong - but too much looking is frustrating. There are things wives can do to help limit their husband's looking - but then you didn't really ask that.

Not really. It's only wrong if you act on your feelings and actually have an affair. But, being attracted to someone isn't wrong, in and of itself.

people are attracted to others for many different reasons. just depends on if that goes anywhere or not. if you truly love the one you're with, then "love the one your with" and forget about others until you are single...

i feel like it is ok to be married and to be attracted to other peoples as long as you dont act on it. that it is natural and something that can't be helped. as long as it stays as just attraction does go beyond that, such as lust and cheating
