What are the highest recorded temperatures of each month in the UK?

I can think of two: 38c for August (10th August 2003) and 29c for October (1st October 1985). What about the other months?

I'm not looking to 'compete' with the continent. Read the question! I am only interested in UK temperature records.

Try looking here
http://www.meto.gov.uk/climate/uk/2006/february/averages1.html
That page for example gives Feb 2006, but you can navigate through to get other months/years.
