Nothing. It's a right, but it's not mandatory.
But you really should vote.

You give up your right to have a say in how we are to be governed for the next few years. If you don't vote 3 or 4 times in a row, you will be dropped from the rolls and have to re-register.

There are people out there who tell you that you have to know a lot about politics in order to vote, but the fact of the matter is that the news, media, and others try to make it seem so high above our heads, we don't realize how simple and self evident issues are, that's what you have to vote on, and it's not hard to catch up and keep up.

Nothing, but you will not have the right to complain about anything that is happening in your state. If it is the presidental election, you will not have a right to complain about the president, because you did not vote. If you don't vote, you will have to re-register after 8 years.

You have to stick with whatever happens. When voting for a congressman or senator or whatever, your vote DOES count.
There was someone who lost by TWO votes I forget what type of person it was, it may have been a judge but I'm really not sure but I do know that this high up person lost by two little votes.
Only the President votes sort of don't count but everything else DOES!

First, you will have to re-register the next election. Secondly, you loose the right to *****. I like that in Brazil, if you don't vote, you get fined and loose rights (since you gave up one anyway). Hundreds of thousands of American men and women gave up their lives so that you could vote and this is the way you thank them? ARE you a Demorat?

If you don't vote, you can't be counted! If you want to change they way things are now, you need to get out there and vote like the rest of us. You also don't get to complain because you didn't participate in putting those nutjobs in Congress if they do something wrong.

You may need to register again before the next election if you want to vote in that one.
Oh that, and you miss the opportunity to participate in decisions that directly affect your life.

You make my vote matter that much more. The fewer that vote just means that those that do have more control over what happens.

It's horrible! You have to live on with no changes whatsoever! The presidents go on raising taxes and sending people to die in wars without going themselves! No one knows the difference between yesterday and today!!! It's terrible! No matter what it's always going to be between three or four rich white guys who are going to do the same thing presidents have always done and that's enjoy their position to the fullest while ordering people around to gather a 1000$ a plate brunch!!! Oh my god!! It's horrendous!
