Stained Glass
You glue all or some of the pieces of glass together, making a colorful window or chime. And sell them for a good $5

If you can afford the storage space, or can connect with local shops or restaurants willing to feature your work on consignment, you could take old furniture and redecorate table tops and even garden benches with mosaic designs. I have seen lamps, vases, candle holders, etc. done with broken glass. If you can design outdoor fountains, those are very popular. Instead of cement, there are other types of fixatives that artists can use these days that are more user friendly. I would check at the art store or hardware store, or online. Also look at garden or home furnishing stores to get ideas. You can offer small tables with a mosaic surface with round glass tabletops, or lay bevelled glass across the top of two stands to make longer tables that are easy to move around as needed. You could even tile a whole floor or wall with a mural if you wanted. Again, the real issue is space, and how to display your designs. Can you hook up with a gallery? As long as you take good pictures of your work to build a portfolio for future design work, any investment of your time is worth it.

You don't necessarily need to do 'hot' glass work, where you are melting or blowing the glass. You could put the pieces together into sculpture using a special UV glue, it's meant specifically for glass, and it cures under UV light. If cured properly, it is as strong as the glass itself. Please be careful, though, I've worked with glass and I got some wicked cuts. Gloves are helpful. However, after saying all this, if you're in this just to make money, and not really to make art, then I would go with mosaics.

wow...thats a lot of bottles. if they are all different colors, make mosaics! they're pretty simple. cement and pieces of glass are all you need - and you can make a hundred different projects with this technique. there are way more sites than this...
