one of my computer's USB port(right one) can recognize my USB but the other one(the one which is on the left side close to another) doesn't recognize my USB.
Is this the port problem?i mean the hardware?
or i must make some changes in re-installing my USB device? (which is a MP3 player).
I tried to reinstall my USB device butthe left port is still not working.

This is mostly down to the hardware of your computer, mainly the motherboard. Is it a custom built PC? Or is it from suppliers. If it is custom built you may not have the correct mother board that supports all the USB ports on the metal case.
If its from a supplier then you probably have a hardware driver issue, try updating you drivers.
Also this could be an effect on your OS, do you have Windows XP, or a earlier version. XP has "all drivers" for USB things already but you still may need to install the software; I had to with my webcam.

Different USB physical ports are also logically different. I dont understand why after reinstalling to the left port did not work, but it should unless there is a hardware problem. Have you tried to plug in a different USB device in the left port to see if windows recognizes it?

Unless it is really a PITA, keep using your right port.

That would indicate a bad port after uninstalling and reinstalling driver and port still not detecting device. Replace it.
