Ok, I am not going to call you stupid like the rest of these people. I think you just mis-stated your question. There IS an ocean (well not technically an ocean) on the coast of Texas; the Gulf of Mexico, which is part of the Atlantic Ocean.

No oceans IN Texas but we border a large body of water called the Gulf of Mexico, which technically is not an ocean.

there are no oceans in texas. there are rivers and lakes, and is bordered by the gulf of mexico, but no oceans.
