Over strenuous Democratic denials, Republicans including Cheney, Bush and Rumsfeld have been spending the last few months painting democrats as the party of "Cut And Run" in iraq, even though very few democrats in power call for an immediate withdrawal.

But now if you watch the cable news interviews of people going to the voting booths, many, many people have said they voted democrat because that's a vote to bring the troops home from Iraq. Did the Republicans accidentally make the Democrats more attractive to independents?

The only thing that Republicans inadvertently do, is get caught being their corrupt selves.

Did you know that Republicans run communes now?

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Voting appears to be very popular in Daggett County, Utah.

Daggett County has registered 947 voters for Tuesday's election. According to the most recent Census figures, that's four more than the county's population in 2005.

A spokesman for Attorney General Mark Shurtleff says complaints of vote-stuffing in the county are being investigated. Democrats suspect County Clerk Vickie McKee is letting outsiders swell the Daggett County registration rolls to give Republicans an advantage. The Democrats also say the father of a Republican deputy running for sheriff has 14 adults registered at his household. McKee hasn't responded to messages from The Associated Press.

I'd have to say yes they did. While the republicans are "staying the course" without saying those actual words, that tells people that they have no intention on removing the troops from IRAQ. While the democrats have NOT said they will remove the troops immediately, they sure didnt deny it. Smart on the dem's behalf, not so smart on the Republicans behalf.

I think the average voter knows that it will take some time to withdraw, but that at least the Democrats are saying let's end this war on our behalf. Next comes redeployment of the troops.
Bush's policy is to stay forever and fight every Muslim in the entire middle east. At least it seems that way. He has said we would be there as long as he is President. And who wants Cheney?

Maybe so. I think the Democrats have signed up for the absolutely NECESSARY but nearly impossible job of cleaning up Dictator Dumbya's mess. The results will be not perfection, nor even good, but just better than digging the hole deeper. If they can do JUST that, they deserve praise and the confidence of the American people. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

Nah they kept saying stuff like that because they know it is impossible to pull out troops out. So now that the Democrats will win it will just be one more thing they can blame on them.
