I filed for divorce over 60 days ago and my lawyer gave me the drawn up papers to give to my husband. He signed them in front of a notary on Nov. 3rd but the notary forgot to change the date and stamped it Oct. 3rd instead. I didn't notice it until I got home. When I hand them to my attorney will he go ahead and set a court date for the divorce to end soon or do you think he'll request I get another copy and have to give them to him all over again? Only reply if you know for sure.

So if I hand this notorized paper to my lawyer he will go ahead and set a court date to grant the Divorce without me having to go back to the notary and correct it?

No problem. The notary signature is saying the notary knows this to be true: 1. It was this person signing, and 2. it was on this date. It is very common for a notary to correct the date on a document.
