The forms are simply the presentation layer. You will need some server side technology (i.e. ColdFusion, ASP, JSP, PHP, ...etc.) in order to do the registration logic.

They use programming language such as ASP.Net, PHP, etc. to get all of these forms and save it to database. Sometimes they will have you confirm your registration by asking you to confirm via link that they sent to your email address.
