That is one of the unfortunate side effects with stopping the pill. Its the hormones getting back to normal and believe me it's a right pain.

I had been on the pill for 6 years and I finally decided to come off it about three months ago and the first month I got really sick and had a lot of cramping and spotting for a few days but it was well worth it because now my sex life is better and my periods don't last the full week.

I was on the BC pill for over 5 years and we decided to try for our 3rd child. I have been off 4 months and my body started acting like I was pregnant only because my hormones were out of wack being on the pill so long. It will take time could be up to 1 year before your body gets on track. I am frustrated but I have to be patient! Good Luck

There are loadsa symptoms, nausa, headaches, cramps, early or late periods, sore breasts (that one killed me for 3weeks!), fatigue etc (check out my questions, its all there lol)
For the first month my symptoms were so bad i was convinced i was pregnant. Just take it as it comes, some women experiance less symptoms than others, depends on your body.
Good move getting off it girl! natural is the way2go! (increases sex drive too i'v found!) just be sure to use protection! and if your trying to concieve i wish ya the best of luck!
xx

I went through hell...the thing is I originally went on the pill to regulate heavy periods and I bled most days when I came off the pill.

spotting is one of the side effects it can take up to a year to get things back to normal. it depends on how long you have been having the jab for! if only a couple of months it shouldn`t take to long but if you have been on it for a while it will take longer for your body to re-adjust and for your periods to return to normal, be patient and it will happen eventually good luck:)
