I liked Final Fantasy VII and I heard this one blows it away.

I bought it the day it came out, it's awesome (like all FF games are).

I loved it personally. It's a little harder though for gils and liscenses but the graphics are great. VII is great too, but I like XII. The best thing to do is to rent it and see if you like it. The game system is much different than any final fantasy I have played. The best thing about the game I think is you can see your enemies before you fight them. With the side quests you have alot more game time play.

If you are a FFVII fanboy then you may not like this game. It is a kind of throw back to earlier games where it was more of an ensemble cast instead of one girl, one guy saving the world kind of deal.
But as far as graphics and gameplay - yeah.. it's awesome.

Yes get it, heres a site with a valid review. 9/10 very good game.
Though Its not on the top of my priority list.

Rent the game. If you like it then buy it. You will already have all of the game info stored on your memory card and then you won't really be out anything if you don't like it.
