They've got two major problems - a poor offensive line, and a poor quarterback.
That line is letting opposing defenses get at Walker with almost no resistance, and last night's game was a prime example. On both three-step and five-step drops, the defense was in the backfield before Walter could complete his reads. I'm not sure that they currently have the talent on that line to fix their mistakes, but they could at least try different blocking schemes or run quicker drops that don't require prolonged protection.
The other problem is Walter. Watching him play last night, it's obvious that he has no confidence in his teammates, and I don't think he's as accurate as I'd expect in an NFL quarterback. I think it was Theisman who commented on the defeated look that he had on his face when he ran out of bounds early in the game, and I think that was a great observation. It's like he doesn't even want to try out there. I'm not all that impressed with his reads or his arm, and I really believe they need to look to the draft, free agency, or a trade to upgrade that position.
The defense is definitely in the upper tier right now, but they can't win with an offense that plays so poorly on a regular basis. Stars like Lamont Jordan and Randy Moss are just wasting away because of poor play from their line and their QB.

Before the game I was not so sure that the Seahawks would win because their defense was having such a tough time.

O-line stinks. Robert Gallery is a draft bust. The QB's are horrible (even Brooks isn't that good. and there coaching staff stinks. Art Shell is 10 years behind. This team lacks discipline, too many holding, offside and illegal motion penalties.

they need to get a better quarterback in the offensive line cant block anybody and the receivers cant hold on to the ball.
the only reason they might win anymore is because their defense will keep them in the game

The only thing he can do is draft a QB and then bring in as many offensive linemen as he can. This year is shot-he can only start playing some of his backups and give them experience for next year

well, i'm not a raiders fan by any means, but i can't understand why they won't put andrew walter back in shotgun. This would buy him some time (maybe) to make a pass and buy the o line some time(another maybe) to defend him. the guy can't move and can't seem to pass in the pocket so he needs a "running start" so to speak.

They have approximately zero talent on the offensive side of the ball. What about that causes you to expect improvement?

It is their Offensive Coordinator, Walsh and the OL. They need to fire Walsh immediately and send him back to making crepes at his bed and breakfast.
