i go on purevolume.com to look for new people. it's free and you can just browse through different artisits or search for certain ones.

MTV.com that is where I was looking up music the other day.They have new artists and popular artists its pretty cool I liked it.

http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/ is a great site for new artists from all different genres. they have album reviews, interviews and articles that are usually very helpful.
