My eye hurts very badly kind of. IT beens hurting since mon afternoon. it hurts when i hurt. it hurts a little when i don;t blink. its not a eyelash i know that. it hurts mainly under my eye lid.

Guitar814 gives good advice but I suggest that you go see an Opthalmologist ASAP! ! !
Flushing the eye is just a temp. solution to what may be a really serious problem.
I really doubt that it is a stye as they don't usually cause the kind of pain you are talking about.
There is a chance of a scratched cornea which untreated can turn very very ugly and can threaten your vision.
There are glands IN the eyelid that can become clogged and backed up and can increase in size and can cause quite abit of pain,these are called Chalzions.
They can be treated with antibiotic ointment but also may require being drained and possibly excised.
Only Opthalmologists can treat cornea problems and Chalzaions with the necessary procedure as they are eye doctors and eye surgeons.
Patching the eye overnight is probably a good idea and will give you some relief but to continue to do this verses going to a Dr and hoping that the problem will resolve it'self is NOT going to work.
The cornea needs air to survive and to patch the cornea indefinately can cause some real damage.
Again I repeat and I STRONGLY suggest you see an Opthalmologist ASAP if not sooner.

First of all, do you wear contacts? because that could be the problem. Or you may have dust or something in your eye, or had an eyelash in your eye which got out right away but left a small cut. Try putting some eyedrops in your eye. if this doesnt work and it still hurts you could see a doctor just to be safe, but most likely it will go away soon. just flush your eyes. (put eye drops in them)

You probably have a sty or a pimple underneath your eyelid. It will go away on its own but if it is really bothersome go to the doctor. He or she may perscribe an eye drop that's medicated. Since you really didn't explain what type of pain you were having, sore, stinging,sticking etc.. I am unable to help you further. Sorry and hope you feel better.

cloes the eye, put a gauze patch over it , secure with paper surgical tape and see your MD or Opthamologist

well there could be many reasons why your eye hurts. one could be that you could have pink eye!! or if you have been around anyone welding you could have a flash burn.
