I was browsing the web and came across a site called Ecyclopedia Dramatica. I WAS HORRIFIED AT WHAT IT CONTAINED!!! It had stuff of religious hatred, racial hatred and even a teenage girl, topless! Every thing somehow managed to insult black people or Jews or Catholics. Now I am not black but it was horrible what they called black people. This really got to me as one of my best friends is black and one of the smartest and most descent person you could meet! And as a Ctholic this was just terrible, I am proud of my religion and anyone one regardless of religion would go on and find there religion being made a joke! This is hard for me to swallow as I am very left wing and respect of religions. So to cut a long story short is it possible to complain and have a site closed down? As these are criminal offences they are commiting!

Free speech is a right that we all have. As long as what they are saying doesn't actually cause anyone harm (that is, they say "Kill Catholics" and someone reads that and then kills a catholic), then the content of that website is protected.

That being said, you can probably complain to the provider and they may delete it anyway.

If minors are appearing naked, then yes, that is not lawful. Otherwise, do not look at sites that may offend you. Sometimes, it is simply up to you to close down the site by hitting that little "x" at the top right of your screen and never going back to it again.

There's this pesky free speech thing.

If they're inciting violence against a person or group, it could be reported. Otherwise, it's just ranting.

Unfortunately they are not breaking any laws and the only thing you can do is stay away from their website.
