Hi i am networked on 3 computers all to the same one on both the up statirs computers they can share files but! this one cannot when i click on View work group computers it freezes? Help needed Please!

Check the following:
Windows firewall settings
TCP/IP settings
Can you ping other computers with this one?
Can other computers ping this one?
Is your network card working properly?
Is your machine on the same workgroup?

If you have the hardware set up correctly and you have run the XP "Set up a home or office network" wizard, then it is most likely a firewall issue. Try disabling your firewall on the problem PC and run the wizard again. Once it has finished, the problem should be solved. Check you can share files etc and then re-enable your firewall. it sounds like there is a problem with windows its self, make sure the workgroup name is written correctly.
