Politicians aren't as different as they'd like you to believe. Lets' face it "to vote for one is to vote for another." "Nothing dramatic has ever happened because of an election."

I understand your frustration, but cannot agree with your logic. Here's the reality, whether politicians, on either side are liers, cheats, etc, it doesn't mean that you or I should just "check out" and not vote.
As individuals, we really only have one forum to have our voice heard, and it is by voting.
If you go to work and have a crappy day, and everyone around you lies, do you just stop going to work?
You shouldn't give up when it comes to matters that effect your everyday life. It's hard to look at the broad spectrum to realize how much your vote matters, but I am telling you, it does matter.
If nothing else at all, when you vote, you will know for yourself that you have done what you can to make a difference. That is all any one can expect. If every registered voter in this country took the time to vote, I promise you this country would be a very different place, don't be one of the people that stopped trying.

I know it's frustrating that the candidates are not as much a representation of what you think should be done as you'd like them to be. This problem had been growing for some time. But look at how few people actually do vote! Think about it, there are like 300 million Americans and way less than half vote! That's like your vote meaning double if you do!
But in all seriousness, elections really do change things. I mean look at how ticked off the whole world is at America. That's the direct result of 1 election. Just vote for the closest match. Unless you really want to do something about our country, in which case you can run for office yourself....

I agree. There's no one to vote for and the more I know about the candidates, I realize there's not just one that I can vote against. Both sides are horrible choices. Neither represents my voice and I can't, in good conscience, vote for anyone.

Would you prefer that no one vote, and whoever was able to take the presidency by force get elected? Voting does alot more than you think.

"Nothing dramatic has ever happened because of an election."

You're frightening. Or simply ignorant.

And judging by the message you sent, I'll go with Ignorant.

So you think Kerry would have put us in this same war?
Interesting. You're right. You shouldn't vote. Stupid people should stay away from the polls today.
