Freezers do hum when the compressor is working - quite normal.
The buttons will be for fast freeze and power probably. Have you still got the manual for it ? If not try contacting Bosch via their web site http://www.boschappliances.co.uk/products-cooling-freezers.aspx

All freezers make some noise, but it shouldnt be too loud.
Wouldnt worry about the buttons, they will just be for fast freezing and temperature setting probably.
Check the freezer is level though with a spirit level as that can affect the noise and longevity of the compressor.

Don't know what the buttons are for especially, have you checked that the freezer is level, touching something and sometimes if the freezer has a radiator (condenser) at the back there are very often rubber or plastic clips holding it, perhaps one has dropped off. Good luck.

it may be an astounding sort of issues. ultimate thank you to tell would be to eliminate the component, and hear what area it somewhat is coming from. would be a stressful force, or a fan. Do you have a CPU fan or a cooling equipment on it? may be the fan on the Video card too. what proportion followers do you have in there complete? Pwr furnish, Vid card, case fan, cpu and any others? In new systems they dont use the ultimate followers, alot of inexpensive followers make noise, and in case you have alot of them collectively in a million case, you will hear a humming noise. additionally do you have something protecting up a fan? Is it 4-5" faraway from a wall so yer pwr furnish fan can good blow air out?

My Bosch freezer did that. I found it was a side panel vibrating and touching an adjacent kitchen unit. When I put a centimetre space betwen them, the noise went.
