As an ATV technicain with three children I would HIGHLY recomend the Honda TRX90 ATV. It is the highest quality 90cc ATV on the market. It has a 3 speed transmission with an automatic clutch, perfect for learning. if you have any more questions drop me an E-mail.

A full size 4 wheeler is extremely dangerous for a 10 year old kid! If you get your kid a 4 wheeler get one that is made for kids with a safety clip that will shut off the unit when the kid crashes. They are also made with throttle adjusters so you can set the top speed. Talk to your dealer

50cc to 90cc is the best size. you dont want to know about engine size, but concentrate on the actuall size of the vehicle in relation to your child. you dont want something big, for which is too heavy or that he is unable to handle.

believe it or not, 90cc can be dangerous even though it looks like its a toy.

No size is too big or little unless nipper has had some training...suggest looking for a 4 wheeler club with qualified trainers. 250cc way too much without training

Not to be a smart Alec but you better be concerned about the size of his Life & Medical Insurance. It scares me to see children on these machines.

If you value your child's life you will buy a 2 seater ATV and ride with him, lettimg him drive by himself is asking for a world of pain. It's not easy losing a child -- Even worse when it was un nessacary :)
