I heard you have to have a i think it's called a memory card so that if you stop a game when you restart it you can pick up where you left off. do you need one of these cards or do you have to have one of these per game.

memory cards are important and expensive. Its better to get one memory card around 8 mb because one save game uses about 300 kb.
Its better not to get a PS3 because it cost about $700 Canadian unless you want an updated and powerful console

If you've got the money and the patience, Playstation 3 comes out November 17th. It will be able to play the PS1 and PS2 and it'll be the best out there.

It's just gonna be popular and expensive.

no they come in sizes like 8mb and 16mb, big game saves are around just below 1mb so if you play on your ps2 a lot then youd be better off getting 2. they arent cheap by the way

good question. i was going to get my daughter one for x-mas also. i think you do need one of those cards thought.

it depends...ur playstation2 comes with1 or 2 but u buy them sepately though.
