yea, im also anxious about my future (in the Opera on Broadway) i go to a performing arts high school, so now i feel like im fufilling a dream, but maybe u should look into some classes regarding photography, because u cant become a professional anything without having specialized in it. i dont know where u live, or if u live in an urban vs. rural community, but im sure there would be a photography course somewhere near you. also, to inquire about being a make up artist, go a to make up store near u (recommend Sephora or MAC) and ask the artists what they did

Enroll in photography classes and begin to play with the medium of fashion. Also, research make-up tips on the internet and in magazines. The magazines will also help you to evaluate compositions of fashion photos. Start to look into specific areas, do you want to be a personal make-up stylist or work on films? They are two different areas, film work will require some special make-up skills, you can even concentrate in that area. Narrow down what you want to do, then develop a vision, then develop smaller goals/steps to accomplish that vision. You can do whatever you want.

The first thing to think about is school, for a make-up artist cosmetology classes and for photography a good college that offers that as a major. Also if you are old enough to work at a make-up counter in a Macy's, or other department store that will teach you some great things about make-up! Good Luck!

It depends on where you live, but I model for a place called JOHN CASABLANCAS and i think that will give you a head start. I know its just modeling, but it will give you the experience you need for photography/make-up art!
