The following is ourced from their website - www.febland.co.uk

There is more on the site, which will give you more of an insight into the company.

REMEMBER - Successful applicants apply for a position as a problem solver, NOT as a designer, warehouseman, secretary - whatever. The company has a problem - they have a task to cover and no-one to cover it - and they want to take someone on to solve that problem. You are applying for the opportunity to solve their problem. Good luck!

Febland source the world to gather the finest furniture, ceramics, lighting and décor, and the company which is now approaching it's fiftieth year, has lost nothing of its desire to bring beautiful and original household items to Blackpool and distribute them nationwide.

It is a far cry from when Mr Simman Febland established the company in 1952 and setting out his stall in the 1953 Harrogate Gift Fair, to the 15 annual exhibitions now participated in by the company. In recent years they have developed their designer furniture arm, enabling them to tailor make the look you desire and change rooms dramatically with a vast choice of wood finishes, textures and fabrics.

The company has built three extra warehouses in the past 3 years and is expanding on the success of its metal lighting and furniture ranges in bronze and brushed silver. The aim of the company is to stay unique and distinctive without buying growth through lowering its standards.

I once applied to Abercrombie and Hollister. I took another job offer and they called me like three or four times even after I declined. I've had plenty of friends who have worked there and they like to give out a bunch of interviews to teenagers that are young and attractive. They hire lots of people so it might be hard to get a decent amount of hours but I heard it's a pretty fun place to work for a kid in high school. Just wear the normal Abercrombie/Hollister/Aeropostale outfit like the short jean shorts with the an Abercrombie shirt and flip flops. The questions they ask are really simple common sense questions. They're not going to ask you difficult life questions. They are just looking for potential employees who know how to be nice, respectful, and courteous. Look happy, excited, and sweet and you will definitely get hired.
