i like the xbox 360 its new and brings in a new generation of gamers

If you are an online gamer, the 360 is the FAR superior choice. The Sony model for online gaming is completely unknown, and XBox live has over a million subscribers. I download the latest game demos, add-ons, new maps, movie trailers, game videos, not to mention all the mini-games available on Arcade. It is such a wealth of content that I can't imagine just looking at my 360 as a game console. It is a content console. And starting on the 22nd, you will be able to download HD movies and television shows directly to your hard drive.
So if you plan on connecting the console to the internet, without a doubt, go 360.
If not, then I would say it depends on your preferred game genres. Playstation has a solid track record of producing the best fantasy/RPG games. If you are into the whole Anime thing, Playstation has a ton of those games. Turn-based strategy games as well. Card games too. Those are all more prevalent and generally executed better on the Playstation.
If you are into first person shooters, stealth, or action titles, then I think the 360 library will eventually be better. This was the case with the Xbox v. PS2. Ghost Recon, Deus Ex, Call of Duty, these all were much better on the XBox.
And don't ever forget HALO. Now that that Xbox has the GTA franchise, there really isn't any title that will be Playstation exclusive. But HALO will never be on the Playstation.
If you are into sporting titles, the games themselves will probably be identical. Again, it goes to online play. If you plan on playing your sports games online, go 360.

Well the ps3 hasn't come out yet if you didn't know so i doubt many people here could give you an answer unless they are testers for sony or a job like that. From screenshots the ps3 and the xbox 360's graphics are nearly the same.

i think that the ps3 is more advanced but the xbox 360 is worth more 4 its money

The PS3 is thee "BETTER" system
IF you have the money for it I'de say get the PS3 because it'll be better in the long run
But I have a 360 and it's great so it really doesn't matter which system you get i'm betting there both good
