What makes you want to pick apart a persons image, music taste, or whatever else? Does it give people a boost of confidence? I just don't get it.

That's not judging, that's condemnation. You can judge something as good, too, not just bad.

Judging people is all apart of life, part of who, what and how people are. No matter where you look, or turn your head someone is judging someone.

do you mean judging someone by their own taste in music or appearance? i don't think people do it deliberately - its just that they probably prefer to be with like-minded people.. i guess. But I think people with low self-confidence or "sheep" tend to do this..

people with low self esteem, like many on this site, must put someone down to make themselves feel superior.
look at the candidates, they don't talk about what goo they have done they talk about what bad things the other candidate did
