In my opinion he's too old to be playing video games, but he works 2 jobs so I can stay home with the kids. Should I just shut up and let him have this one (albeit annoying) hobby?

relies upon. once you're a gamer who desires to play relatively interactive blu ray video games, get a PS3. in case you like surfing the internet, checking emails, taking pictures/movies, video chatting and lots extra, get an iPad 2. Uh, yeah. He works TWO jobs so you can sit home? I don't think it is too much to ask that he get a darn video game console and has some fun.

And I have four kids and when they were young my hubby worked days, I worked nights so he was home with them and he still worked a second job on the weekends.

If he is working 2 jobs and wants a playstation, is there going to be anytime left in the day for the 2 of you? I can understand having ones hobbies after working hard all day. But ultimately it is you and the kids that should come first.

I think there isnt harm in it as long as you set limits with him before hand. I mean, if he is working 2 jobs, i am sure you would want some of his free time to be spent with you, instead of on the playstation- so I think you should delegate time he should be spending with you and NOT on the ps3 if you do get it for him. I think video games can harm relationships if men really get into them and play them more than paying attention to their woman.

NOPE!!!! I am a game fan and I'm not going to pay $600 dollars for a game system that is brand new and they may have not worked out the bugs. Try and tell him next year and bring up the fact that new consoles have a high mortality rate, and $600 is a lot to spend on something that will just break.

The answer is yes. I also work very hard and find that playing with video games takes the edge off. I think it's better than banging gay prostitutes and buying crystal meth.

Yes. Give into the power of the PS3!!!!

Seriously, if you got the money (not saying that it is expensive) buy it. It is really fun and no one should be deprived of video games, no matter what age.

Of course you should get it for him. He works 2 jobs for goodness sakes. It's either the playstation or a lot of blow jobs.

Bah Humbug Momma!

The only difference in men and boys is the cost of their toys.

Yes, he sounds like a really nice man and if he wants a PlayStation 3 and you can afford to get it for him; then get him one.
