If they have been in your house, eating some of your food. Use the food they have gotten into. I had rats at my work. They were getting into my bread I use to make sandwiches every day. I bought some rat traps and put some of the bread on it. Worked like a charm. Good Luck!

Peanut butter, or get a sticky trap and put food on that. It's sad but efective. Or dog/cat food

PEANUT BUTTER! My paraprofessional used it in the traps in our classroom. I have tried it at home. The peanut butter is sticky enough that the mouse will have to tug on the trap in order to eat it. ......... and when it does tug on it...... snap goes the trap.

Those are good ideas. I also get good results with a piece of sugared donut or bread.
