get him this special necklace or bracelet with some skateboard moves or get him a special bracelet.there are some cool vedio games with new skateboord moves.

Just kidding, how about some educational discs on various subjects, there are elementary level, middle school, and high school levels.(to use on your home computer). They are inexpensive and available at Walmart (everyones favorite Christmas shopping store).
There is also the Nintendo Game Cube if he is into games, Playstation handheld PSP, X-Box, and many others. The big Playstations have the capability of playing DVD Movies on them too. Most start at about $150. And the handhelds start at $99
Two years ago I took my children to Disneyworld and a week long Disney Carribean Cruise, so how about maybe a trip on a cruise ship. My children loved it, and so did I. And my children (8 & 13) want to go on another cruise someday. A Disney Cruise or a Mexican cruise which is less expensive. Allow him to invite a friend.
Have you had him send a Christmas Card to Santa this year ?

You didn't tell us your son's age (4 or 6 or 8). Anyway, good presents can be an MP3 player, like iPod or the top new Zune of Microsoft (to be released in the middle of November). Other option is a digital camera (for an older child), computer game, XBOX or something similar.

I suggest that you pay a little more attention to your son when you go shopping. When the both of you are walking around the pay attention as to what section of the store he goes to and at what items he stops to look at. If that does not help, just review the year, can you think of anything that he mentioned that he would like to have. And, again, if that does help you could...always buy him more skateboarding merchandise or give him a gift card and let him buy what he wants.

How old is your son? Get him some video games for his video game conosole, and if he doesn't have a console buy that too...
You could buy him, an mp3 player, ipod, or cd player if he doesn't have one already. ummm....some dvds of his favourite movies.
It all depends what he is interested and how old he is, that is the best I can come up with.
You could buy him some things to go with the skateboard like a helmet, pads, or ramp. The padding and helmet might make him look like a geek though.

Can you get him a gift certificate for one of his favorite catalogs? Or is there a skate shop near you? I get my kids gift certificates for the local skate shop. That way he can choose what he needs or wants. I am clueless when it comes to wheels, trucks and boards. My boys always like getting the GC for the skate shop
