does the little baby really have downs syndrome.my partner says it does cause of the eyes and tongue.he just askt where did they get the baby for the part and that it has downs.anyone know

yes little Petal is played by a downs baby. Grace's parents were interviewed on This Morning and they were in a similar situation to Honey and Billy as they did not know they were expecting a baby with Downs Syndrome. She is a beautiful little girl though. :)

yes the baby really does have downs syndrome as the real parents where on TV they got the baby from the hospital where they get all the babies from when they were doing the story line they asked the hospital if anybody had a downs baby and the couple had just given birth to one

Yeah the baby really is a downs baby and I think the parents who were recently interviewed on tele were approached by the downs society and were really keen on the story line which they identified with.

Yes she does have Downs Syndrome. I also saw her parents being interviewed on This Morning a while ago. The tiny actress was 3 months old when she played newborn Petal. Isn't she gorgeous?? I'm sure she smiled in her first few scenes!!

Ignorant people are so patronising. Can someone tell me why it's a shame? People with Downs are able to lead a normal fulfilling life. I agree she's a gorgeous little girl , but why the surprise- she's a baby - arent all babies gorgeous? Your pitying comments fill me with rage!

this is a very serious story line n caused a lot of controversy so they r bound 2 use a baby with down syndrome.

yes she does her name is grace and her parents were approached by the downs support group. they too didnt know she was going to have downs it was diagnosed after she was born I saw them in a magazine article.
