Two other people had this computer and it is loaded down, I dont like the way the thing works. I need some assistance

If it were me, I would just format and start from scratch.
That's rather drastic, I know, but I'm a Tech.
Make sure you have all of the software you need first!

If other people can use your computer, the simplest way to do is to create an account for yourself and set up a password so no one other you can have access to your setting to mess it up.
Or the best to do is to reformat the hard drive and reinstall everything.

Easiest way to do it is to reformat the hard drive and reload the operating system from a disc. That'll start you off fresh.

Remove any programs that you don't need. If you still can't get it to work, you need a new computer that no one else has used.

do a system restor...whe u turn on compute....start pressing f10...and i will get rid of all the junk......but....you will lose everything.
