You need to be a bit more specific in your question framing, I think.
If the real query is "How deep has man gone below sea level", then the answer can vary significantly.
The actual deepest below sea level was by the crew of the Trieste back in 1960 - they touched the sea floor inthe Challenger Deep (part of the Pacific Marianas trench) at 35810 ft below sea level.
For mining, the deepest is the Western Deep Levels mine in South Africa, I believe. The depth isn't accurately noted, but it is approximately 4 km (13124 ft).
For simple drilling, the answer is closer to 8.5 miles (45000 ft).
