I have found that the best place is www.ebuyer.com or from Dell. If you should want to upgrade the PC in the future do not go to Dell as they use a lot of non-standard parts. Avoid PC World like the plague! They are overpriced and their sales staff have no idea what they are talking about, if you have a problem with the PC they will shift responsibility onto the manufacturers.

Before I bought mine I spent around a month having a good look around and comparing what I got for what price . . . . . I asked a ot of advice form many dealers etc.
In the end I got a great deal from PC world and by reserving it on line I got a Pentium 4 processor with 17 inch screen for £350.00 cash. The same deal at dell would have cost me around £500.00.
Dell are very clever and have lots of secret add ons to the 'original' price.

Best Buy is a really good place. If you have a Fry's Electronics close by, it's like the best. or get on line and go to Tiger Direct. Just Google Tiger Direct.

Over the years i have bought from comet, pc world and this one from Dell, each time I have had problems and to be perfectly honest, dell have been the best after sales service. I phoned them and they were helpful and even sent emails to me after!
Thing is they only do online sales no shops.

Go to PC World, and get the free advice which will enable you to decide which PC you want, then search the net for the cheapest offer from a reliable supplier.

Don;t be to rush on buying a new PC. Before that you can read a review for it in www.tomshardware.com after that you can seek for the cheapest price in there.
