i try to plug it in th the carger and it show a amber color. i try to turn it on and the green light comes on and just sit they for a sec then turn back off. nothing comes on the screen

check the battery or there is nothing wrong let it charge. Attempt to turn it on again and if it does the same thing you may want to call sony. You may have bricked your psp meaning its about as useful as a brick because it can't do anything anymore.

To take it off carry, merely hit the potential on. in case you have no longer already tried, attempt plugging it in and charging it. once you put in interior the drawer you have accidently had it on and the battery died.

maybe there is dust in the battery pack or your batery pack could be muked up
