I'm interested in applying to a graduate program at USC in communication management, but I would be working full time while attending. How hard is it to do that? How hard are classes typically, and how much work is there to be done outside the class? Would i have ANY free time left/???

My grad classes were pretty intense and Ioved the intensity as it was something I was truly interested in. So although it was intense, I got through it with a 4.0 gpa and learned a lot. All of my classmates and I were working fulltime and I was able to take classes in the afternoon and at night. I had plenty of free time as long as I prioritized and did what I needed to do when I needed to do it. Hope that helps!

The graduate classes I took were offered at night - they are geared toward people working day jobs.
Also the course work was very independent. We met once a week to dicuss how the project we were working on was going or to present research we had finished.

If you are a good student and have very good study habits and can work alone without constant supervision, you should try grad school.

As for free time, yes you would have some but it will take longer to earn the Masters since you will only want to take one or two classes a semester to allow yourself a chance to have a life outside of work and school.

I do not know much about communication management. But most graduate programs assume that the student will be working. The classes are dependent on the subject but I don't think any of them are easy. The amount of free time you have depends on your efficiency and study habits.
