Maybe take a break from work until you make it to your second trimester, Morning sickness usually eases up then. The Dr. may be concerned that school, work and pregnancy may be to much for your bady right now. Also if your doctor wants you to take medication you really should I am 11 weeks and 6 days and my doctors gave me antibiotics for a pregnancy related UTI. If you don't trust your Dr. that badly find a new one sweetheart. also feel free to email me if you need to talk.

Your Dr. should have given you a list of medicines that you can take safely. Like tylenol, pepo bismol, etc... that are fine for the baby and won't have any side effects. Your Dr. should also be able to give you a prescription for anything that can help you.
As for working... that's up to you.. but be careful about doing too much manual labor... don't lift heavy things or stress out your body. that can be bad for the baby. The farther along you are, you'll realize that you can't be on your feet all day long, so maybe prepare your boss so that you can work while seated, if possible.
Don't have much advice on telling your parents... it's something that will come up in the not too distant future, so you'll have to bite the bullet on that one. I would tell you to handle it as calmly as possible and have a plan ready. Tell them that you already know how you're going to handle finishing school, keeping your job, getting married, and who's going to watch the baby after you go back to work. Maybe that will help them respect your decision.
Good luck!

okay. well if 4 weeks make a month and you are supposed to be pregnant for 40 weeks then that equals 10 months. If 6 weeks make a month then you are pregnant for 9 months. Does that make sense? Anyway if you are 11 weeks tomorow, you still have 29 more weeks to go until you are 40 weeks. About the hot things, I've never heard of that. I was told to drink hot tea when I was having labor pains to speed up the labor.

Boy, you have lots going on. First what you need to do is tell your parents. Then you won't be walking on egg shells with them. They can be support. My parents are extremely supportive. Even though I wasn't married before I got pregnant they have been wonderful.
Next, don't worry. Everything will turn out fine. Maybe you parents could help out with the bills a little bit or you could get a job that's not so stressful. I know women who have worked while being pregnant you aren't the only one.
Just take care of yourself, eat right, do all the doctor says and get REST. It's extremely important you get lots of rest especially if you are working.
Good luck to you and your fiancee. Hope all goes well.

Do what your doctor says that is the most thing in having a healthy baby. Also if the doctor says it is ok to take some meds to help with morning sickness go ahead.

Your parents will not kill you. They will always love you and the baby. I guess it is time to confide in them. The woman I had kids by and I were a lot younger than you and we just told our parents. Someone came from the school to tutor her. At least you are a senior, we were only sophomores. You had better listen to your doctor and take your meds. Would you really want something to happen to your baby because you were bull headed.

It sounds like you have a dilemma. Your parents are going to find out eventually and if you're happy you're pregnant, why not tell them? They will be upset at first but when they see how happy you are, the feeling will spread onto them.
I think you should take your doctor's advice b/c he's a professional and knows what's good for you and the baby. If something happens to you or your baby you would wish you would have listened to him.

All that stress is not good for you or the baby, Your parents will be mad at you but i think they will support you in your decision to keep the baby and getting married. You really should listen to what your doctor tells you because he/she has your best interest in mind. My brother got his 15 yr old Gf preg, and they did not tell my parents until she was 7months, Yeah they were mad but they also wanted to help out any way that they could. I hope you listen to your doc and tell your parents It is your body and baby and all you want is them to be happy for you not judge you. Good luck and Congrats!!!

Follow your doctors advise. He won't tell you to take drugs that are bad for the baby. If he thinks you should quit working then you should. Part of taking care of a baby is taking care of yourself. Especially when you are pregnant. Children need healthy parents to take care of them and when your pregnant your health affects your baby. You should tell your parents that you are pregnant. You can't hide it forever. Its time to stop being immature. You are about to be a parent yourself.

my doctor NEVER told me not to stop working unless he thought something was wrong. why would you refuse to take the meds the doctor gave you? My doctor has me on some as well. MOST OB's know what they are doing if you do not trust this doctor you should see a different one. BEST WISHES and CONGRATS
